| Selecting the Proper Floats and Setting Up Your Model: To set up the floats on your specific model, measure the fuselage length and multiply that by .7. Then select the kit closest to the required length. The floats are located on the model with the step on C. G. The wing saddle set to 1 degree positive incidence with the top of the float at 0 degrees. The mounting struts should be set up so that the top of the float is at the same height as the wheel axle on the main landing gear would have been. The water rudder is mounted on the side that the entry door on the model the floats are to be mounted on is located. |
