"Movie Boats" are models of those from TV and movie productions

The Orca from the movie Jaws was designed and built by Pat Tritle. The 35" model placed First in the 2002 RC Boat Modeler magazine design contest. Originally the model was powered with a geared 05 on 6, 2400 mah Ni-CD cells. Later it was refitted with a Dumas High Torque 05, and is still running with that system today.

The 26" SS Minnow from the TV Series Gillian's Island was designed and built by Pat Tritle. The simple plank on frame design was powered with 2, 3 volt electric toothbrush motors in series using a 6 volt battery with duration enough for the entire 3 hour tour.

The Vrolijkheid from the movie Father Goose was designed and built by Pat Tritle. After seeing the movie I knew I had to have one of these sleek cabin cruisers. The plank on frame model is powered by twin Speed 280's and a 7.2 volt battery. In spite of it's long slender hull the model handled beautifully on the water.
